Poslovna inteligencija at MIPRO 2014 conference
On Wednesday, 28/05/2014., in Opatija were held presentations of professional papers within the MIPRO 2014. As representatives of Poslovna inteligencija, presentation held our consultants Ana Mihanovic, Zivko Krstic and Hrvoje Gabelica
Subject of our presentation was Big Data and Sentiment Analysis using KNIME: Online Reviews vs. Social Media. At this lecture you could learn how text analytics and sentiment analysis can assist the organization in making important business decisions thanks to data from different sources. The described system analyzes the opinions of the devices that were collected from two different sources - in the form of online reviews and Twitter posts. You had the opportunity to learn what the different approaches to sentiment analysis in online reviews with Twitter posts, which are the differences between them, and advantages and disadvantages of text analysis from different sources.

Our presentation at Faculty of Economics in Split
On Friday, 05.09.2014. our young colleagues Hrvoje Gabelica and Zivko Krstic held a lecture on theme "Data Science" at the Faculty of Economics in Split in collaboration with the Student Association IMEF Split. They talked about Big Data, skills that data scientists need to have, machine learning (predictive analytics) and examples from practice. On the presentation were about twenty attendees who have shown the most interest in tools that are used in data mining projects and skills that employers are looking for.
